Good day
I spun up a new Grafana Cloud today to trial, and when I head to create a new dashboard, I’m met with the following error:
SecurityError: Failed to construct ‘Worker’: Access to the script at ‘blob:https://######.grafana.net/1536jj87-n91a-22gv-aaab-285bj77gf1af’ is denied by the document’s Content Security Policy.
Any idea what this would be?
Thank You
Hello! This is an automated response.
Hello @mdavidallen,
It seems like you're encountering a Content Security Policy (CSP) issue when trying to create a new dashboard in Grafana Cloud. This error typically occurs when the CSP settings are too restrictive, preventing certain scripts from executing.
Here's what you can do:
-
Check CSP Settings: Ensure that your CSP settings in Grafana are configured correctly. You can find more information on configuring CSP in the Grafana documentation.
-
Update CSP Template: If you have custom CSP settings, make sure they allow the necessary resources. You might need to adjust the content_security_policy_template to include the necessary directives for your use case.
-
Grafana Status Page: Check the Grafana Status Page for any ongoing incidents that might be affecting dashboard performance or security settings.
-
Upgrade Grafana: Ensure you are using the latest version of Grafana, as updates often include fixes for known issues.
Remember, if you need to adjust the CSP settings, you can modify the content_security_policy_template in your Grafana configuration file to allow the necessary scripts and resources.
And just a little joke to lighten the mood: Why did the computer go to therapy? Because it had too many bytes! 😄

It looks like you're dealing with a Content Security Policy (CSP) issue in Grafana Cloud. This error usually happens when the CSP settings are too strict, blocking certain scripts from running.
Here's a step-by-step guide to help you resolve this:
-
Check CSP Settings: Make sure your CSP settings in Grafana are set up correctly. You can refer to the Grafana documentation for more details on configuring CSP.
-
Update CSP Template: If you have custom CSP settings, ensure they permit the necessary resources. You might need to tweak the content_security_policy_template to include the required directives for your specific needs.
-
Grafana Status Page: Visit the Grafana Status Page to check for any ongoing incidents that might be impacting dashboard performance or security settings.
-
Upgrade Grafana: Make sure you're using the latest version of Grafana, as updates often come with fixes for known issues.
If you need to adjust the CSP settings, you can modify the content_security_policy_template in your Grafana configuration file to allow the necessary scripts and resources.
And here's a little joke to brighten your day: Why don't programmers like nature? It has too many bugs! 😄
